Sheri is a certified executive coach through Hudson Institute of Coaching. The key focus of her work is increasing skills to help leaders at all levels maximize their overall impact and effectiveness. With an established ‘coaching’ mindset, she can help make an increased impact in organizations by empowering leaders, developing depth and breadth in leadership bench strength, retaining top talent and strengthening employee engagement.
Before her executive coaching practice, Sheri led the executive team at St. Thomas More Hospital (STM) in Cañon City, CO as Chief Executive Officer (CEO), a position she held since 2013. She spent her entire 32-year career with Centura Health, having served in various roles since her start as a junior accountant at St. Joseph Hospital in 1986. She is a perfect example of how hard work and dedication can lead to career growth. She has held many roles with Centura Health – STM and St. Mary-Corwin Medical Center in Pueblo, CO – including junior accountant, senior accountant, chief accountant, accounting manager, controller, director of decision support, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Administrative Officer.
Her education includes a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Southern Colorado (now Colorado State University-Pueblo), and a master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance and Accounting from Regis University. She also holds a CPA license, and is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. She has Mastered the Thomas-Kilmann Conflict Mode Instrument and is a Predictive Index Certified Partner.
Active in the community, Sheri is a board member of the Canon City Chamber of Commerce and El Pomar–Central Peaks Council. She has served on the boards of Fremont County Economic Development Corporation, Pueblo Community College Advisory Board– Fremont Campus and the Colorado Hospital Association. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, camping, mountain biking, hiking, running, weightlifting, and golf.
